Jeanette Eltag passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Fair View Nursing Home, Mauston. She was just 8 days short of her 90th birthday.

She was born Jeanette Marie Arens on December 17, 1922 the parents of Bill and Lillian (Otto) Arens. Jeanette lived most of her life in Mauston and was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed music and was a member of the choir for many years. She was also an active member of the local Moose Lodge.

She is survived by her daughter Janice Mauer, her grandchildren Heidi Stalsberg (Greg) and David Mauer (Carrie), her great grandsons Kamron and Korbin Stalsberg and Alex and Cody Tomany. She is further survived by her sisters Marian Williamson, Carol Arens, her brothers Bud Arens (MaryLou) all of Mauston, and Jim Arens (Penny) of Lyndon Station.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Laurence Reynolds (1962) and her beloved son Larry (1963) and her former husband Fred P. Eltag.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2012 at the United Methodist Church, Mauston where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will be at the Mauston Cemetery.
