Janesville beats Madison West in Big Eight hockey

MADISON, Wis. -

The Janesville Bluebirds may be looking up at Madison West in the Big Eight standings, but they had no problems handling them Thursday night.

The Bluebirds scored two goals in the first period and three in the second to get by the Regents easily 6-1.

Connor Perkins scored a pair of goals for Janesville, and Mike Money and Winn Lyons also scored for the Bluebirds.

Madison West drops to 6-2 on the year.
