James W. Sullivan

James W. Sullivan, age 70 of Cashton passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2013 with his family by his side at Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse, due to complications of diabetes. He was born in Chicago on March 3, 1942, the son of Charles and Patricia (Salzer) Sullivan. Jim will be remembered by those who love him for his guitar playing, song writing, singing, campfire singalongs, snappy dress shirts and family cookouts.

Jim leaves behind: his wife of 49 years, Darlene, children:James M. Sullivan (Andrea) of Lone Rock, Michelle Olson (Jeremy) of La Crosse, Brent Sullivan (Mary Beth DaMone) of Clarkston, MI, grandchildren: Eric, Christopher, Hannah and Tyler, his siblings: John (Penelope) Sullivan of Chicago, Patricia Wood of La Farge , Colleen Sowa of LaCrosse
his Aunt Letitia Stahnke, special friends: Richard and Margot Innes, Craig and Cheri Chapman and Maridene Olson, and a host of other very special family and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Tim, Tom, Chuck, Bill, Bob, and infant Francis Daniel; his Aunt and Uncle: Rosemarie and Kenneth Hanley; and lifelong friends Jim and Jack Olson.

The family would like to thank the Renal Dialysis Unit-Viroqua, Bethel Home and Gundersen CCU staff for their compassionate care.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the La Farge United Methodist Church, 212 West Penn Street, La Farge, WI 54639. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from noon until service time. The Seland Huston Funeral Home in La Farge is serving the Sullivan family.
