Ida Breitkreutz

MADISON-Ida Ella Breitkreutz, age 91 of Madison, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at Karmenta Health Center. She was born on April 8, 1921 in Princeton, to William and Ella (Bertha)Breitkreutz. Ida retired after working for many years at Block Cleaners.

She was preceded in death by parents; her brothers, Fred and Arnold; sisters, Florence and Adeline; and nephews, Rick Homan and Leon Marty Jr. She is survived by brother, Larry (Rosemary).

Rosemary and Ida developed a special relationship over the years. Rosemary was dedicated to being a true sister and friend.

Ida was a long-time resident of Karmenta. She enjoyed playing bingo and other activities. The family would like to thank the staff at Karmenta for their compassionate care.

A private ceremony is being planned in Princeton Wisconsin.
