MADISON, Wis. -

At Madison Memorial High School on Wednesday, five athletes signed either scholarship offers or are walking on to their new schools' programs.

Jester Weah signed to play football at Pittsburgh while Joe Ferguson will walk on at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Peter Webb will play golf at Valparaiso, Nick Menninga will swim at UW-Milwaukee and Mary Erikson has a scholarship to play soccer at Northwestern.

It's a big day for anyone who signs to play college athletics.

"(I'm thankful for) all the love and support of my family. Everyone's called us crazy for everything we've gone through since I was 4, playing soccer so much, but it's just actually a dream come true and I couldn't be happier about it all," said Erikson.
