Fatal fire in Oshkosh claims person, dog

OSHKOSH, Wis. -

Authorities in Oshkosh said a person and a dog were found dead following an early morning apartment fire.

A WLUK-TV report said the fire was reported to Oshkosh police Saturday about 4:20 a.m. Fire officials said the person and dog were dead when they arrived on the scene.

The Oshkosh police and fire departments are investigating the cause of the fire.

Reports did not identify the name or other information about the individual who died.
