Edgewood Girls hand MG girls first loss in high school basketball.

Tuesday night unbeaten Monona Grove faced Madison Edgewood.

Both teams had a tough first half shooting, but Edgewood's Jo Jo Chryst hit a baseline jumper to give the Crusaders a 18-16 half time lead.

Edgewood comes out strong in the second half. Emma Meriggioli hits a three in a the 3rd quarter run.

Crusaders led 34-21 after three.

M-G tries to come back and they get within 5 but Edgewood and Sam Foti always had an answer.

It's MG's (14-1) first loss of the year. Edgewood has won 7 in a row.
