Downtown sandwich shop robbed

MADISON, Wis. -

A man robbed a sandwich shop on Regent Street in Madison Monday night, according to police.

Police said the man walked into Milio's at 2145 Regent St. at about 8 p.m. and implied he had a weapon. The man was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled.

The man is described as white, 6 feet tall, with a medium to heavy build and wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
