Donald Albert Linscheid, 72, of Muscoda, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013. He was born May 27, 1940 the son of Albert and Clara (Niebalski) Linscheid in Richland Center. Don graduated for Muscoda High School in 1958 and went to work at Kroger’s as a meat cutter. He worked for 34 years for the Muscoda Utilities as a lineman. On January 22, 1977 Don married Charlene Brey at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain. He liked to hunt, fish, and golf. Don enjoyed spending time with Snickers.

Don is survived by his wife of 36 years Charlene of Muscoda, son, Dan Linscheid of Portage, daughter, Erin (David) Kepler of Richland Center, 3 grandchildren, Ellie, Andy, Sami Linscheid, sister, Joyce (Ivan) Farness of Muscoda, many nieces , nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Don was preceded in death by parents, son David Linscheid, brother, Richard brother-in-law Tom Drone, and in-laws, Herman and Lucille Brey.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Muscoda with Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Friends may call at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home in Muscoda on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. The Godager Pratt Funeral Home of Muscoda is assisting the family with their arrangements. Online condolences can be made at prattfuneralservice.com.
