OREGON, Wis. -

Damage to a house caused by a southeast side Oregon fire is estimated at about $110,000, authorities said.

According to the Oregon Area Fire and EMS District report, a crew responded to the report of a fire at 420 Concord Dr. at about 4:19 p.m. Friday. When firefighters arrived, there was heavy fire blazing the first floor of the home, the district said.

Authorities said only one resident was home at the time and escaped after being alerted to the fire by smoke detectors. The occupant was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries, the district said.

There were no injuries to firefighters and all pets survived the fire, the report noted.

Fire officials said the cause of the fire is under investigation as of Friday evening but it is thought to be accidental.

Firefighters had the blaze under control in 20 minutes, according to the report.

Oregon Fire and EMS said the Fitchburg and Town of Madison fire departments and Stoughton EMS assisted.
