Colorado College finishes off sweep of Badgers

MADISON, Wis. -

Colorado College scored twice in the second period and goalie Joe Howe made that stand up as the Tigers beat Wisconsin 3-0 Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

Archie Skalbeck and Alexander Krushelnyski had goals in the second period. Krushelnyski scored the game-winner in overtime in Friday's 5-4 win. Both players have four goals this season.

Goalie Joe Howe made 33 saves for Colorado College (4-3-0, 2-0-0). He had a game-high 11 in the first period but faced just six shots in the third.

Wisconsin (1-4-1, 1-2-1) had a 33-22 advantage in shots on goal.

The Badgers' goalie Joel Rumpel made 19 saves.

Wisconsin's Mark Zengerle had his five-game point scoring streak snapped.
