Charles T. Powell, 93 of Hustler passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Hess Memorial Hospital, Mauston.

Charles was born on May 24, 1919 in Hampton, Nebraska the son of Clark and May (Myers) Powell.

Charles was an administrator of a children’s foster home in Park Ridge, Illinois and also an administrator at a senior’s home in Augustana, Illinois and taught driver’s education. He worked as a security guard at Bodine Electric until his retirement. He was united in marriage to Edith S. Egnor on August 12, 1973 at Humwood, Illinois. Charles was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Mauston.

He is survived by his wife Edith, nephews David Cozby, George Cozby, Clark Newton and a niece Karen Newton.

Charles was preceded in death by his sisters Katherine Newton and Meda Cozby.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Mauston where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will be at Plymouth Cemetery.
