He was a great athlete at both Edgewood High School and UW Madison, excelling in basketball, football and track, still holding records. Retirement years allowed Carlo to enjoy his lake home and create many family memories. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, Italian cooking, golf, softball, coaching and trips to the casino. He looked forward to his kids’ and later grandkids’ sporting events. Carlo gave his time to charitable functions and played Santa. One of his lifelong dreams was to travel to Sicily. He made the trip for his 80th birthday in the fall of 2012.
