Barneveld girls basketball heads to State

The Barneveld girls basketball team is back at the state tournament, but this time it's in Green Bay, not Madison.

The Lady Eagles have won four state championships-- all in Madison, but this year's tournament has moved to the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon and begins Thursday with the Division Five semifinals.

Barneveld will play South Shore Thursday afternoon at about 3:15 pm.

The girls have been practicing against boys at school this week and head coach Jim Myers says "with what we're going to see with South Shore and their size, it will help us this week to at least practice against that."
