Badgers post big win at Northwestern

Jared Berggren and Ben Brust each scored 12 points to lead the Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team to a convincing 69-41 win against Northwestern in Evanston, Illinois Wednesday night.

The Badgers built a 28-12 halftime lead, holding Northwestern to 20 percent shooting (4-20) in the first half.

Wisconsin outrebounded the Wildcats 43-19 in getting its' 10th Big Ten conference win of the season.

Sam Dekker came off the bench to score 10 points as Wisconsin shot 46 percent from the field.

The Badgers are now 10-4 in the Big Ten, 19-8 overall. Northwestern drops to 4-10 in the Big Ten, 13-14 overall.

Wisconsin's next game is Tuesday night when Nebraska comes to the Kohl Center.
