Assembly Republicans launch new web page

Published On: Mar 26 2013 06:53:25 AM CDT
MADISON, Wis. -

Republicans in the Wisconsin Assembly have carved out some space on the Assembly's website for news on the caucus.

The site includes video of Speaker Robin Vos' recaps of weekly events, breakdown of key issues, news releases, and columns written by Republican lawmakers.

Constituents can sign up for electronic updates and send comments through the site.

Vos spokeswoman Kit Beyer says the site will be fully operational this week.

Matt Egerer, an aide to Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca, says Democrats don't have such a site.
