Alberta A. Hildebrandt

MADISON/MIDDLETON-Alberta A. Hildebrandt, “Albie”, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Belmont Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on July 6, 1918 in Roxbury, the daughter of Albert and Johanna (Reuter) Loeser. Alberta was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert J. Hildebrandt on September 14, 1940 and they raised 11 children together. She enjoyed needlework and music, but truly treasured most the time spent with her family.

Alberta is survived by her children, Barbara (Dennis) Best, Michael (Linda), John (Suzanne), Robert (Sandy), Thomas (Melissa), Virgine (Leon) Luke, Jerilyn (Ken) Howards, Jeffrey (Peggy) and Scott (Hunter); 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita Springman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, James (Vietnam, 1968); daughter, Joanna (Curt) Adler; parents, three brothers and four sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February5, 2013, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
