45th annual Spartan Invitational track meet

MADISON -

Despite rainy, cool conditions, the 45th annual Spartan Invitational track meet went on at Mansfield Stadium Friday night.

13 schools from around the state competed in one of the premier boys track meets of the season.

In the 100 meter dash, Memorial's Jester Weah won in a time of 10.67 seconds. Weah was named the meet's most outstanding runner.

Madison West's Olin Hacker held on to win the 1600 meter run in 4 minutes, 24.93 seconds.

Neenah's Chris Van Dyke was named the meet's most outstanding field performer.
