TOWN OF SMELSER, Wis. -

Three men were arrested Friday night around 8:42 after reports of shots fired on Rock Road in the town of Smelser, according to a release.

Grant County sheriff’s deputies were notified of gunshots being fired from a truck that drove by a residence there, according to the release.

The victims reported that they were standing outside the residence when a utility task vehicle drove by with a couple of people on it, according to the release. One of the victims could hear someone on the UTV comment about wanting to shoot someone there.

Officials said the victims reported that a black truck drove by the address and there were three gunshots fired from the truck.

No one was hit or injured during the incident, and no property was reported as being hit by the gunfire, according to the release.

The truck and the three occupants fled the area prior to the arrival of sheriff’s deputies and other law enforcement officers, according to the release.

At about 11:20 p.m., a sheriff’s deputy located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle driving north on Highway 15, according to the release.

Officials said witnesses reported the suspect vehicle had returned to the area of the shooting, and a neighbor followed it to report the vehicle’s location.

Officials said they conducted a high-risk vehicle contact, and a man and a woman were detained.

After an initial investigation, officials determined that Bradley Wilson, 31, of Cuba City, went to the address on Rock Road while riding in a truck driven by Aaron Gregory, 29, of the Plateville area, according to the release.

Officials said Wilson then shot a Ruger .357 handgun out of the truck’s window towards the Rock Road residence.

John Henry, 53, of the Plateville area, was arrested on charges of party to a crime -- endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.

Gregory was arrested on charges of obstructing, party to a crime -- endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, and bail jumping.

Wilson was arrested on charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety.
