TOWN OF BROOKLYN, Wis. -

A 23-year-old faces drunken driving charges after he fled a rollover crash with his dog Saturday morning, Green County officials said.

The driver of a vehicle traveling westbound on Highway 92 lost control over the crest of a hill and entered the ditch, investigators said. The driver, Blake E. Weber, 23, of Brooklyn, overcorrected causing, the vehicle to slide into a driveway embankment and then overturn once.

Weber and his dog fled the scene, but deputies later found him at his residence, according to the release. Weber was transported to Monroe Clinic Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. The dog was not injured.

Weber was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, officials said.
