Robert J. Cuba of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin died on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at St, Clare Meadows Care Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station with Father Valentine Joseph celebrating. Burial will be at the Lyndon Station Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Military rites will be provided by the Maurice C. Havey VFW Post # 5970 of Lyndon Station.

Bob was born January 28, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Robert and Catherine (Heppeler) Cuba. He joined the US Army at the age of 18 and served from 1946-1947. He married Myrna Bruhn on July 11, 1959 in Skokie, Illinois. He worked for Statland Cartage of Chicago, IL driving truck for over 32 years. In the early days he and Myrna vacationed at Bass Lake Campground. He retired in 1987 and they moved to Lyndon Station in 1988. He joined the Maurice C. Havey VFW Post # 5970 in 1992. He was very proud of the work he did organizing and leading fund raiser, providing Military Rites at funerals and being commander of the post for many years. He enjoyed his retirement living in Lyndon Station visiting his friends.

Bob is survived by his wife, Myrna; son, Robert (Tracy) Cuba of Bristol, WI; daughter, Cynthia Cuba of Traverse City, MI; his grandchildren, Casey, Robert, Ryan and Zachary and his great-grandchildren, Cooper and Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Cheryl Ann Ryan and his 6 sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Maurice C. Havey VFW Post # 5970.
