Patricia A. Raymond, 73 of Mauston passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Hess Memorial Hospital, Mauston.

Patricia was born in Mauston, Wisconsin on April 2, 1940 the daughter of Delbert and Hazel (Barr) Raymond. Patricia graduated from Mauston High School, the Juneau County Normal School and earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from UW La Crosse. She taught in the Tomah School District for five years. She worked in the dietary department at Hess Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. Patricia was offered the opportunity to travel to Alaska to teach school and explored the opportunity and rode a dog sled and other activities by finally decided that Alaska was a little to primitive for her. In 1981 she traveled with her mother to Calgary, Canada to visit with her sister and enjoyed the trip.

Patricia is survived by her siblings Wanda Guist of Denton, MT, Robert (Cecelia) Guist of Mauston, Donald (Jeanette) Raymond of New Lisbon, Richard Raymond of Necedah, Gary (Carla) Raymond of Baraboo and nieces and nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew Donald Raymond.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Crandall Funeral Home, Mauston where friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will be at the Rose Cemetery.
