Noreen Leona Dieter

Noreen Leona Dieter, age 87, of Livingston, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013, at Upland Hills Health, Inc.

Noreen was born on March 6, 1926 in Mifflin Township to Milton and Myrtle (Jenkins) Beerkircher. She married Warren Alfred Dieter on December 30, 1950. Alfred preceded her in death on December 29, 2001. The couple farmed near Livingston on Alfred’s family farm. Noreen was a graduate of the Madison Business College. She was employed at Oscar Meyer and the Law office of Sachtjen & Braathen. She was a member of the Cobb United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Ladies of the Elks #2753. She was a member of the Iowa County Homemakers for over 50 years.

Noreen is survived by two daughters, Pallas (Thomas) Brabant of Montfort and Dena (Clark) Gordon of New Glarus; two grandchildren, Daniel and Athena Brabant; two sisters Beth (Roger) Witz of Nekoosa and Doris Moore of Nekoosa; a brother Ronald (Kathy) Beerkircher of Bradenton Beach, Florida; a special cousin Lil Williams of Deforest as well as many nieces, nephews and friends in Wisconsin and Florida.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Darold Beerkircher and brothers-in-law Wesley Moore, Bill Christenson and Aaron Dieter.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday July 19, 2013 at the Cobb United Methodist Church. Pastor Gary Benzschawel will officiate with burial in the East Side Cemetery in Dodgeville. Friends may call at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home in Dodgeville on Thursday July 18, 2013 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. and at the church on Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of service.
