She was united in marriage to Felix Milanowski on April 30, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death in 2006. Anita enjoyed her life. She was kind and gentle, strong and bold, judicious and wise. Elegant. Sometimes she laughed, other times she cried. But most of all she loved; and was loved, very much. We lucky few whose lives she touched will forever cherish her memory.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean (Pat) Clare of Platteville; six grandchildren, Antonette, Jacob, Samantha, Katherine, Joanna, and Natalie; three step-grandchildren, Charlie, Alex, & Emily; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mae (Frank) Piskur of Seattle, WA; brother, Fred (Lois) Lazio of Eau Claire, WI.
